America’s Compounding Center is a privately owned and operated integrative pharmacy committed to providing physicians in Massachusetts and surrounding states with the ability to offer solutions to the medicinal problems facing their patients. The owner and head pharmacist is Arthur Margolis, R.Ph.  Arthur, a third-generation compounding pharmacist, is the 2005 recipient of the Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award given by the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, a past president of the Massachusetts Independent Pharmacists Association (MIPA), a former preceptor of the year for Northeastern University's pharmacy program, a member of Professional Compounding Centers of America "PCCA", and a member of Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, and a member of International Association of Compounding Pharmacists, IACP.

Why Choose a Compounding Pharmacy?

Compounding offers an opportunity to customize the treatment of a patient by providing options of dispensing through forms that are not commercially available. We work with the patient and practitioner to provide the best solution for each medication problem.  Not only can we compound common dosage forms such as solutions, suspensions, suppositories, creams, and capsules, but our pharmacists can compound transdermal gels, powders, oral rinses, nasal sprays, lip balms, inhalations, and more to meet a patient’s special needs. Our team of compounding pharmacists also has the ability to customize and dispense medications that are no longer commercially manufactured.  Not every pharmacy can compound, however America’s Compounding Center has a  state of the art laboratory and equipment, as well as pharmacists and technicians with extensive training in compounding techniques. Arthur and his staff are dedicated to providing the highest level of quality in all of our prescriptions and in most cases are able to provide same-day compounding.

America’s Compounding Center, as an integrative pharmacy, also offers a wide array of complementary medicine solutions to our patients, including nutritional supplements, customized vitamins, herbal medicine and homeopathy. Our on-staff nutraceutical specialist is able to provide top-quality alternative health approaches to customers and patients to combat the ongoing health issues of today. We have an extensive line of pharmaceutical-grade supplements and carry brands such as Metagenics, Neuroscience, and Thorne, among many others.  We pride ourselves on the satisfaction of our patients, thus all complementary medicine solutions are available to our patients at comparative prices. We welcome questions from clinicians regarding the interactions and contraindications between conventional and complementary medicine, as well as any questions regarding compounded medications. 

Our pharmacy offers counseling support to all of its patients and our team of five compounding pharmacists will work closely with physicians to ensure that all the patients’ needs are met. America’s Compounding Center is open Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Most insurance plans including Mass Health are accepted and billed online. The patient is responsible only for their co-pay. Standard shipping is available free of charge for all of our patients.

A prescription from a licensed practitioner is required for compounded medications.
